Jeanne Allen is an expert in Strategy, Innovation, and Leadership in the nonprofit sector. As a BoardSource Certified Governance Consultant, she is an expert in board development & governance and nonprofit leadership development.  Jeanne’s reputation is built on engaging workteams in creative ways to build on their dreams and visions. Previously, Jeanne worked 25+ years in national, state, and local nonprofits, as well as in higher education in a community college.  Much of that time, her primary focus was capacity building focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Additionally, Jeanne is an Instructor in the Duke University Nonprofit Management Certificate Program, where she teaches the following executive seminars to nonprofit professionals:
