Stella Ford

As Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Stella builds and strengthens relationships with BoardSource’s corporate, foundation and federated partners. Through deep and authentic relationships, BoardSource works with partners towards a shared purpose—to inspire and support a thriving and just social sector. Stella is also actively engaged in developing BoardSource’s programming and thought leadership in philanthropy.

Stella is a Washington D.C. native who cares deeply about the nonprofit sector and is passionate about the arts. She held previous roles at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and Miami City Ballet. Most recently, Stella was the Director of Development at the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami (MOCA). Her experience working in close partnership with nonprofit boards has informed her perspectives on governance and leadership.

Stella holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Maryland and a Master of Arts in Arts Management from George Mason University.
