Judy Reckelhoff
Chief of Staff
Judy works in partnership with our CEO and key internal and external partners to lead BoardSource’s research projects, plan and execute leadership initiatives, guide BoardSource’s advocacy engagement, and oversee essential internal functions including annual planning, human resources, and foundation relations. She also serves as a liaison to all board committees, working in close partnership with the CEO and vice president of finance.
Judy has a passion for the nonprofit sector and has worked with a variety of nonprofit organizations, including the Alaska Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, Alaska Legal Services, the Protective Order Project, and Indiana Legal Services. She received her JD from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she was awarded a prestigious John H. Edwards Fellowship for her record of voluntary public service and scholastic achievement. While attending law school, Judy also developed the Access to Justice Program, a new department of the law school that encourages law students to provide legal assistance to low-income individuals.
