Jerome Dazzell

Director of Technology Operations

Jerome Dazzell leads BoardSource’s technology operations, partnering across the organization to advance the systems, strategy, and infrastructure that support BoardSource’s mission to meet nonprofit boards and leaders where they are.

Jerome brings more than a decade of experience scaling technology functions in mission-driven organizations across the education, workforce development, and social justice sectors. Most recently, as founder of Dazzell Consulting, he provided fractional CIO leadership to organizations including Legal Aid at Work and Grace Institute – advising on Salesforce strategy, IT governance, and AI acceptable-use frameworks tailored to the sensitivities of the social sector. Prior to launching his consulting practice, Jerome spent 13 years at Per Scholas, a national workforce development nonprofit that provides tuition-free technology training to individuals in underserved communities. There, he built the IT function from a single-seat operation into a 13-person enterprise team supporting more than 570 staff across 22 campuses nationwide, serving on the National Strategic Operations Leadership Team and ultimately as SVP of IT. Jerome has spoken at Salesforce Dreamforce and multiple Salesforce World Tour events on technology as an enabler of workforce and programmatic impact, automation and process improvement, and AI adoption in the social sector.

Jerome brings a people-centered approach to technology, grounded in the belief that systems succeed when they are built alongside the people who use them and when they serve as enablers of opportunity and equity. He holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems, both from Southern New Hampshire University. Jerome is a Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator and Certified AI Associate.
