Shawn O’Hara, MBA, CFRE has more than 25 years of international experience in the philanthropic sector. Her expertise in board governance, fundraising strategy, and management training have been crucial to the successes of associations, organizations, and academic institutions across the globe.

Shawn has lived and worked in Europe, North America, and Asia. She boasts an extremely diverse client list, allowing a broad wealth of knowledge and an abundance of real-life experience to develop dynamic solutions for her clientele. She is an accomplished trainer, facilitator and expert consultant who has a knack for helping organizations sort out their governance challenges.

Shawn holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco, with an emphasis in Human Resource and Organizational Development. Shawn is an active member of The Certified Fundraising Executives (CFRE), BoardSource, and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). She is the Board Chair of Food Share the foodbank of Ventura County and the Board Secretary of Sherwood Women’s Golf Association.

When she isn’t with clients, Shawn enjoys golf, hiking, kayaking, cross-country skiing, travel, reading, and being managed by her two kittens Ellie and Izzy. She splits her time between Thousand Oaks and San Francisco CA and Incline Village Nevada.
