A discussion centered on the unique nature of the chief executive/board chair relationship drawing from the facilitators’ experiences as both executives and board chairs.
Pre-Dinner Reception: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Dinner Discussion: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Day 2: The People and The Work

Morning: Making the Case for an Engaged Board
The first of a three-part discussion taking place today that begins with the question, “What is the ideal chief executive–board relationship?”

Moving Forward with Big Ideas: How the Board and the CEO Forge New Territory Together: Afternoon

- Case study work focused on how to communicate with the board around large issues

Day 3: Culture and Renewal
Networking Breakfast and Panel Discussion: Operating in an Environment of No Surprises: 8:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
Engaging the Board Outside the Boardroom: 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
A focused session on how to effectively engage the board in critical external leadership roles as fundraisers and advocates for your organization’s mission.
